Katie Wilson Rogers
Founder/Creative Director

Born and raised in San Antonio, I received a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, with a Minor in Film studies, from Southern Methodist University. I have marketing experience in a variety of industries including Real Estate, Publishing, Hospitality, Non-Profit, Restaurant/Bar, Medical, Retail, Law, Private Investments and more. While most marketing professionals choose to focus on either a strategic or creative roll, I have always been committed to developing my skills in all aspects of marketing. I started Katie Rogers Promotions (now Core Creative) in May 2011 with the goal to offer affordable, full-service marketing services to small and medium sized businesses. Since then, I have been very fortunate to work with dozens of companies doing what I love - building relationships with my clients and helping them reach and exceed their marketing goals.


I earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Fine Art from Trinity University in 2005. Fresh out of college, I interned at The Brand Union in London. Energized with a passion for agency life, I returned to San Antonio and worked for a local agency for four years and was promoted from Account Executive to Vice President, but wanted to use more of my creative talent. The next four years, I worked as a full-time designer. In 2012, I earned a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) in Communication Design. Since 2013, I have been working directly with clients as Lindsay Studio until January 2019 when I joined Core Creative. I work with clients to develop business strategies and implement custom design solutions. I believe that design can be more than just beautiful imagery, but rather the craft of a well-executed visual that communicates a clear message or concept.
